Fire rages near Getty Center in Los Angeles

Firefighters Thursday extinguished all "visible" flames of a small wildfire that broke out near an upscale section of Los Angeles.  
Firefighters work on a wildfire Thursday morning in the west Los Angeles area. 1 of 2  The fire burned about 100 acres near Interstate 405 for more than seven hours before 400 firefighters were able to get it under control, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey wrote in an online update.

The blaze was about two miles from the Getty Center in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles near Beverly Hills, the fire department said on its Web site.

There were no injuries or structure damage, and the cause is under investigation, Humphrey said.

Helicopters helped assess the extent of the fire, which authorities initially measured at 150 acres.
