The Peanut Shop of Williamsburg and the Virginia Diner in Wakefield are voluntarily recalling some of their pistachio products because of concerns about possible Salmonella contamination.

The Peanut Shop issued the recall Monday for eight items packaged under The Peanut Shop of Williamsburg or The Peanut Shop brands with certain lot numbers or best if used by dates found on the bottom of the cans or on the surface of the bags.

The diner's recall Monday is only for the Gourmet Deluxe Mixed Nuts which contain pistachios. It does not apply to any other Virginia Diner or Galloway’s Original branded products.
